Its soft design minimises the risk of injury, and strong Velcro fixing straps keep boxes locked in place.

Plyometric training should be performed on appropriate flooring to absorb some of the impact of the exercises on members’ joints. Everflex, Energym and Tech Sport are ideal choices.

Plyometric exercises are perfect to improve an athlete’s ability and skill and will seriously increase speed and strength.

Plyometric movements are movements in which a muscle is loaded and then contracted quickly, using the strength, elasticity and innervations of the muscles to jump higher, sprint faster, throw farther, or hit harder, using explosive power to ultimately perform better overall. And box jumps are a type of plyometric exercise.

No matter your fitness level, incorporating box jumps and other plyometric drills into your workout is a great way to increase your heart rate, boost metabolism and burn fat.
